Hello and welcome to our classroom page!

My name is Diane Love and I am so excited to be teaching kindergarten at GW Carver!  I am originally from New Jersey and also lived in Pennsylvania for a few years before moving to beautiful North Carolina!  I live with my husband Eric, daughter Erica, and 3 very spoiled rescue dogs...Colby, Cassie, and Cinnamin(because she is mini!!)
So, welcome, welcome!!  I am so excited to be a part of your child's life and educational foundation.  Kindergarten is such a magical time and I look forward to watching your child blossom!  Thank you for sharing your child with me this year...together we will foster a true and life-long love of learning for your child!

Educational Philosophy/Vision:
In our classroom, we will always provide a safe, supportive, nurturing and encouraging environment for all children and their families.  We will develop relationships and hold high, but attainable, expectations. Together we will discover new ideas and construct wonderful learning through work and play!

College(s) Attended/Degrees Earned: I received my teaching degree in elementary education from Moravian College in Bethlehem, PA

The greatest learning takes place when there is an ongoing, positive, supportive relationship between home and school. You will receive a monthly classroom newsletter letting you know what is taking place in our classroom. I may also send some important notes in between.  Thank you so much for partnering with me to make this school year the best it can be for your child!  Should you ever have any questions or need to contact me, please feel free to call me at 704-932-4161 or send me an email.
