About Me:  Hello and welcome! My name is Lindsey Lipsey and I am a 4th grade teacher at G.W. Carver. I am originally from Virginia where I was born and raised. I moved to North Carolina about seven years ago and have taught first, third, and fourth grades at Woodrow Wilson Elementary. I am looking forward to working at Carver!

Educational Philosophy/Vision:
"The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go!"-- Dr. Seuss

Helping your Child Succeed:
At home you can...
Help your child become fluent in their multiplication facts and division facts by practicing every week!

Read at least 20 minutes a day!

Make real world connections to what they are reading!

Read a book with your child and ask them simple questions such as:
1. What is the setting and how is it important to the story?
2. Who are the characters in the story?
3. What happened in the beginning, middle, and end?
4. Which character are you most like? Least like?
